[Slack] Set up Agile Analytics Bot in Slack

An Agile Analytics bot can’t analyse anything before you didn't give him some “rights”.

To make it work, the bot has to be added to a channel in which you want to use its features.

It can be done by Using a command or Using the Slack UI (takes longer ).

1. Using a command

Go to a channel where you want the bot to observe and type the following command:

Done!

2. Using the Slack Desktop UI (takes longer )

1. In your Slack workspace Right-click the channel name you want to add Bot in on the side menu and pick View channel details. Or open the channel and click on its name:

2. In the opened popup menu go to choose “Integrations” → click “Add apps” or “Add an app”.

3. Select AnalyticsBot and press the “Add” button.
   
   

   Open

   

Congratulations! Now the bot is ready to be used in the channel you’ve added him to. You can add the bot to any channel you want (the number of channels is not limited).
